The Constant Variable Project

India’s Strategic Logic

Choice Preservation in a Transactional World

An inquiry into the foundational logic of statecraft under material constraint. This work examines the "rule-proposer" method and the civilizational operating system as tools for preserving sovereign agency in a volatile global order.

The Constant Variable Project is an attempt to reconstruct the logic of Indian statecraft from the inside out. While much of the prevailing analysis of India is filtered through external frameworks, India’s Strategic Logic suggests that these frameworks—while useful—remain secondary.

This work invites the reader to integrate an additional, internal lens: one that recognizes India not merely as a "swing state" in a global balance, but as a civilizational entity operating on its own internal code. By refining our mental models to include India's indigenous strategic logic, we can better understand its commitment to choice preservation and sovereign agency in an increasingly transactional world.
